Charity & Community
Charity
Charity is very much at the heart of our culture. We regularly organise and participate in events to benefit charities, including Jeans for Genes Day, the Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning, Children in Need, Wear it Pink for Breast Cancer, and the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day.
Other recent charity beneficiaries have included the Raystede Animal Welfare Centre, The Sussex Heart Charity and Haywards Heath Town Youth FC. Our Marketing Department work closely with our chosen charities, using our events to publicise their very worthy causes.
In 2019, a team of colleagues ran a muddy 5km event, raising £800 for local charity Kangaroos, which provides after school and holiday clubs for children and young people with learning disabilities in and around Mid Sussex. Read the full story here >>>
Community
Supporting and engaging with our local community is also extremely important to Pharma Hygiene Products. We have been based in Haywards Heath since joining the Adelphi Group of Companies in 1994, and are often pleased to sponsor and contribute to local events and activities.
These include the annual Cuckfield Book Festival, Brighton Shakespeare Company’s open air theatre productions, and sponsoring a local student to undertake a voluntary trip to Peru. Read more about this student’s “trip of a lifetime” here >>>
Chairman Stephen Holroyd has also gone above and beyond for the local community in another way; providing affordable housing for local residents in public service roles.
This is just a snapshot of what Pharma Hygiene Products and our partners are doing, locally and around the globe.
