Material Testing & Certification
Due to the heavily regulated nature of many of our customers’ industries, it is essential that we supply only the materials that we specify, to meet international quality compliance regulations.
Material Testing & Certification at
Pharma Hygiene Products
In heavily regulated industries, it is critical that we only supply the stated materials. We can supply X-Ray Testing certificates to confirm the grade of stainless steel, and Surface Finish Analysis certificates to prove surface smoothness.
TSE certification is also available upon request, to state that no animal fats have been used in the polishing process. This is vital to guarantee that no cross-contamination from BSE or CJD diseases occurs.
Using specialist testing and analysis equipment, we offer a cost-effective material testing service, backed up by comprehensive certification where required. This service gives you the peace of mind that you are getting what you are paying for, undertaking due diligence, and ultimately maintaining your quality control.
Types of Material Testing & Certification We Offer
Explore our range of material testing and certification options below…
- Material Testing
A non-destructive process to verify the alloy make-up of your stainless steel. We have all heard horror-stories about vessels which have been found to be entirely 316L (pharmaceutical grade) stainless steel – apart from the base! This is not accepted at Pharma Hygiene Products; using our X-Ray tester, our team can provide infallible evidence demonstrating the grade of stainless steel for all your products. PDF and hard copy certificates are available upon request – please don’t hesitate to ask our experienced team when you come to request a quotation.
- Surface Finish Analysis
To demonstrate the exceptional surface smoothness of the Pharma Hygiene Products range – an average of just 0.4 micrometers Ra. This high-level finishing allows the most thorough cleaning in the cleaning process, and also leaves no surface pits or crevices where bacteria can collect.
- TSE Certification
Guarantees that no animal fats have been used in the polishing process. This is vital to ensure that no cross-contamination from BSE or CJD diseases occurs.
